To help address the problem of plastic waste in the United Arab Emirates, which uses more than 20 billion plastic bags each year, Tide created reusable (washable, natch) bags that can double as grocery lists.
The country’s waste problem is so bad that it’s blamed for the deaths of camels who are thought to have mistaken plastic bags for food.
UAE’s government aims to phase out the use of plastic bags in the country in 2013.

“Suddenly, spilling water becomes a necessity instead of a problem and wine glasses need coasters not to prevent ring stains but to avoid tumbling,” say the table’s designers.
The vegetation is very much alive, meaning the table requires constant care, but the reward is invaluable: All the picnic with none of the f*cking ants.
[architizer / thd.]

Seriously want.

I am determined to have this table someday! You’d need a really sunny dining room….
